Patrick (Rick) Sorrenti, a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President, leads the firm’s work for the Air Force’s Electronic Systems Center, with a focus on aircraft systems; technology research/development and acquisition, modernization and sustainment activities. He is recognized for his expertise in: Communications systems and strategic communication services Defense acquisition process Systems engineering Quality Processes Mr. Sorrenti and his staff provide acquisition management, systems engineering, technical studies and analysis, and research and development support for a variety of Air Force and defense agency acquisition programs. Mr. Sorrenti led the firm’s efforts to establish an ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification to airborne systems programs. Mr. Sorrenti is a member of the Professional Engineers Association, Airlift Tanker Association, and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). Before joining Booz Allen, Mr. Sorrenti served for over 20 years in the US Air Force in a variety of positions focused on combat search and rescue, avionic and communication system acquisition, test and evaluation, and operational employment. Mr. Sorrenti holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Maryland and Troy State University respectively. He has also completed advanced degree courses at Clemson University and is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University.
