Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President Dr. Mahir Nayfeh, based in Abu Dhabi, is a leader in the firm’s Middle East and North Africa Region commercial business, with a particular focus on the technology sector. Dr. Nayfeh has 20 years of experience working in telecommunications and IT as a technology advocate migrating new technologies from research into production. As a technical leader and business manager, he drives the vision and strategy of organizations in a variety of technical arenas, including research and development, full life-cycle product development, and enterprise architecture. He has extensive experience designing and developing hardware and software systems, from optical and RF communication systems to enterprise software systems for ground and space applications. He holds several patents. Before joining Booz Allen, Dr. Nayfeh served as Chief Technology Officer at the Abu Dhabi Systems Information Center; Executive Director, Technical Services at Musanada – Abu Dhabi Governmental Services; and Senior Principal Engineer at Ciena – Transport. Dr. Nayfeh holds BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.
