Diane J Humetewa

Diane Humetewa is a member of the Hopi Indian Tribe located in northeastern Arizona. She is currently the Special Advisor on American Indian Affairs to the President of Arizona State University (ASU), Special Counsel to the General Counsel's Office and Professor of Practice at ASU's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Professor Humetewa was the U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona from 2006-2009. She was the first Native American female to be presidentially appointed to that position.
