Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Executive Advisor Dale Watson coordinates and advises senior management in issues involving law enforcement, counterterrorism, and counterintelligence. Mr. Watson serves as a liaison between the firm and leaders within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and Department of Defense, and assists Booz Allen in building public-private partnerships to support national security. Mr. Watson joined Booz Allen in 2002 after 24 years of service with the FBI, where he was executive assistant director for counterterrorism (CT) and counterintelligence (CI). Among his responsibilities, he was involved in every major terrorist investigation from the 1990s through 2002, including the first World Trade Center attack and 9/11. With his extensive knowledge and understanding of the U.S. intelligence community and all aspects of CI, Mr. Watson has contributed to numerous espionage investigations and sensitive intelligence efforts. He was detailed to the CIA in an operational assignment. Other areas of responsibility include supporting the National Infrastructure Protection Center and National Domestic Preparedness Office. In addition, Mr. Watson served as a U.S. Army Infantry officer. He has testified numerous times before Congress on CI and CT issues. He was a regular participant on the National Security Council and briefed senior members of the Clinton and Bush Administrations. Mr. Watson has been honored with many recognitions, most notably the FBI’s Meritorious Achievement Award. He is the sole recipient of the Presidential Rank Award for the FBI, as well as the CIA’s prestigious Donovan Award for senior executives. He has appeared widely on media outlets and participated in documentaries such as PBS’s “Frontline.” A graduate of Florida State University, Mr. Watson has a B.A. in History/Government.
