Ross Woodard joined Bridgepoint Education in 2004. As Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Woodard oversees all marketing efforts supporting Bridgepoint’s mission to provide innovative solutions that advance learning. Prior to Bridgepoint Education, Mr. Woodard spent 15 years in various senior level sales and marketing roles. He began his career with sports and fitness leader Nike Inc., serving as a Regional Manager. From 1992 to 1996, he was the Sales Manager for Road Runner Sports, a San Diego-based sports and fitness retailer. In 1996, Mr. Woodard took Road Runner Sports online and served as Director of E-Commerce. His experience in the online marketing and advertising space has translated well into his current role at Bridgepoint Education, where he is responsible for all aspects of the Marketing, Advertising, Creative and Public Relations departments. In maintaining Bridgepoint Education’s dedication to social responsibility and enriching the communities it serves, Mr. Woodard leads Bridgepoint's community service initiatives. He has supported organizations such as the American Red Cross, Big Brother Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Clubs, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Promises2Kids. Mr. Woodard currently serves on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego. Mr. Woodard earned his BA from San Diego State University.
