Prior to joining Promontory, Sarah was an Associate at BuckleySandler LLP, where she assisted with a variety of matters. Her work included performing a risk assessment for a major mortgage servicer, representing financial institutions in connection with investigations and administrative enforcement actions, and conducting due diligence related to fair lending and the Community Reinvestment Act. Sarah began her career as an Attorney at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where she worked in the Enforcement and Compliance Division of the Law Department. At the OCC, she investigated national banks and institution-affiliated parties on matters involving issues such as insider abuse, unfair or deceptive acts or practices, and other violations of law and regulation and unsafe or unsound practices. She also advised supervisory staff regarding problem banks on issues that included prompt corrective action and the Bank Secrecy Act.
