Blair Christie is Chief Marketing Officer for Cisco, where she oversees the company’s global marketing, corporate communications, and government and community relations. She sits on Cisco's Operating Committee, the 12-member leadership team responsible for setting the company’s strategy, goals, and annual targets. Prior to CMO, Blair was Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Communications and Investor Relations. She also managed Cisco's global studios, digital, social media and collaboration technology strategy teams. Before Cisco, Blair held roles in investor relations, government and public affairs, and corporate giving at InterDigital Communications Corporation, Aqua America, and PECO Energy. Blair is passionate about education and serves as a member of the US2020 advisory board, an organization developed from a White House call to generate large-scale, innovative solutions to our country's STEM education challenge, focusing on increasing access to STEM careers for girls, underrepresented minorities, and low-income children. She also sits on the President's Leadership Council at Drexel University. In 2014, Forbes named Blair as a “Top 20 Most Influential CMO”; “Top Five CMO in Big Data”, and for the past three years, one of the "Top 20 Most Social CMOs" in the Fortune 100. She received the 2014 "Brand Building" award from the Wall Street Journal's Marketers that Matter and named one of Advertising Age's “2014 Women to Watch”. She holds a B.S. degree in marketing and business administration and an MBA, concentrating in investment management, from Drexel University. She lives in Annapolis, MD with her husband and three children.
