Immediately prior to joining USEC, Wright was a vice president and principal at Boyden Global Executive Search, an executive search firm. Previously, he was director of human resources at Mobil Oil (now ExxonMobil Corporation) Europe, with offices in London and Brussels. While at Mobil he was responsible for HR operations involving 3,000 employees in 30 countries, and he played an instrumental role in developing the HR policies and procedures for the merger of Mobil and Exxon internationally. Before joining Mobil, Wright held several HR positions of increasing responsibility at the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO) in Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands. Early in his career, Wright was a pension and employee benefit plan specialist with TIAA-CREF, and an employee benefits consultant with Johnson & Higgins. Wright earned his B.S. degree in political science from Eastern Michigan University and his M.S. degree in industrial relations and personnel management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
