Matthew Evans

Prior to joining Salmon River as an EIR, Matt was the CEO and co-founder of GaggleofChicks.com, an ecommerce company that brought the best local deals to moms and their families. The company was acquired in 2011. Before starting Gaggle, Matt worked in venture capital as a Principal at Salmon River Capital where he focused on digital media and education technology. Previously, Matt headed national expansion for New Leaders for New Schools and was with Merrill Lynch in its investment banking and corporate strategy groups. Matt serves on the boards of Big Fish Games, a leader in online interactive entertainment, and Imagine H2O, a national nonprofit he co-founded dedicated to inspiring and empowering people to solve water problems. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA, magna cum laude, from Amherst College.
