Commissioner, New York City Commission on Women's Issues (appointed by Michael Bloomberg, Mayor, New York City), a newly elected Vice President, New York Women's Agenda, and a member of the Advisory Boards of Ogilvy Mather North America, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Equality Now - NYC (human trafficking focused). She is also a member of the Board of the National Coalition of One Hundred Black Women (NCBW) and an appointed member of the Friends of the New-York Historical Society. Ms. Griffith also serves as the appointed DPI/NGO Alternate to the United Nations on behalf of the NCBW, and co-chairs the NCBW International Committee and Government Affairs of the New York Women's Agenda. As Deputy Director, Budgets, with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), she is part of a team that oversees an annual budget in excess of $15 billion dollars.
