Jennifer worked for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for more than 24 years, specializing in retail lending activities for the majority of her career. For the last 13 years at the OCC, she served as a lead retail credit specialist for large bank supervision. This entailed examining the largest and most complex banks, coordinating consistent field examiner application of supervisory guidance, advising OCC senior management of existing and emerging retail credit-related risks to the banking system, and serving as the primary supervisory liaison to retail credit policy to address those risks. Over the years Jennifer was part of or managed numerous regulatory horizontal reviews, including multiple reviews of various aspects of the credit card industry, real estate appraisal and valuation practices, and the 2010 mortgage foreclosure horizontal review. Jennifer also played a key role in developing the credit card and home equity metrics that the OCC has collected from the largest banks for several years and turning those metrics into valuable supervisory information.
