Lenny joined the Vibrant Village Foundation in 2011. Since 2008, he has lived in Ghana, where he has worked as an Associate Professor in Community Development at the University for Development Studies in Wa and, earlier, taught at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. Prior to that, he worked at the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom. He has 17 years’ experience as a researcher on health, society, and everyday life, and 14 years’ experience as an educator. Lenny holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree from Virginia Tech. He and his wife Agatha are based in the village of Fielmuo, Ghana, in the Upper West Region of the country.
