Gavyn Davies

Gavyn is a founder of Anthos, a founder of Prisma Capital Partners, a $11 billion fund of hedge funds, Chairman of Fulcrum Asset Management, a $3 billion macro asset manager, and a founder of Active Private Equity in the UK. Previously, Gavyn was Chairman of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in the UK. Prior to that, he was a Partner and Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he was the firm’s Chief Economist and Chairman of the Global Investment Research Department. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he was an economic advisor to the British Government. Gavyn was educated at St. John’s College in Cambridge and did his postgraduate research at Balliol College in Oxford.
