Meredith Broome

Before joining Promontory, Meredith was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Government Financial Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she supported various Treasury initiatives to address the financial crisis, from ensuring access to federally guaranteed student loans to structuring an investment vehicle to provide liquidity for consumer loans.While in the private sector, Meredith was Director of Business Development at AOL, LLC, where she originated, structured, and executed deals to support AOL initiatives, including the launch of a new health channel. She also developed a market entry strategy for China. Earlier, as a Consultant at Bain & Company, she helped clients in diverse industries, including automotive, software and healthcare, strengthen their market positions and achieve their growth objectives. As a Summer Associate at Goldman, Sachs & Co, Meredith worked on mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings and other strategic assignments.Meredith also spent five years as a Legislative Advisor to Senator Bill Frist, helping him develop and implement his legislative and political agenda.
