Beth Meltzer, currently retired, worked for more than 50 years as a social worker, psychotherapist and child psychologist. She is Founder, President and Board Member of the Verbena Fund, a family foundation that awards grants to local organizations that serve basic needs. She also serves on the board of the ACLU-SC.
