Carl Bass

Bass retired as president and CEO of Autodesk In 2017 after 24 years. He co-founded Ithaca Software, which was acquired by Autodesk in 1993 leading to his tenure at Autodesk.. He currently serves on the boards of Zendesk, Built Robotics, Planet Labs, Zoox and is a trustee of the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Carl Bass is Senior Executive Vice President of the Autodesk Design Solutions Division, where he is responsible for all infrastructure management, building design, and manufacturing products, and their marketing and worldwide sales. Previously he was Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of Emerging Business, looking broadly at strategy and growth opportunities.
