Mr. Wilson is President of UTALCO a company specializing in integrated marketing, management and business development with core competence in Textile and Apparel Manufacturing. Before joining UATALCO he was an executive with The Coca-Cola Company where he served as Director, External Affairs, of the Africa Group. Mr. Wilson is a principal founder and first Chairman of the US Corporate Council on Africa . He received a US Presidential appointment to the US Africa Trade Advisory Board. He also serves as advisor to several transnational corporations; Edlow International, CONOCO Phillips Petroleum, the Coca-Cola Company and Lockheed Martin Aviation. In addition he serves as an advisor to the Nigerian Business Council Against AIDS, a USAID funded initiative. Mr. Wilson's interest in African affairs dates back to 1969 when he made his first visit to the West African nation of Ghana . A native of Alabama, Mr. Wilson received his undergraduate degree from Stillman College , in Social Sciences. He currently serves as a member of Stillman's Board. He did his graduate and postgraduate work at Boston University in public administration and applied sociology and Harvard University where he served as a Fellow at the Institute of Politics.
