Bruce W Hughes

Bruce Hughes is President of the Government Programs Division at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. During his 25 years with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Hughes has held professional and management positions in Medicare audit and reimbursement, Medicare operations and in BlueCross BlueShield’s provider network division. Active in his community, Bruce currently serves on the executive committee of Cultural Council of Richland and Lexington Counties and previously served as the chair of the board. He is also a past board member of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. Bruce received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Clemson University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He is also a recent graduate of Leadership South Carolina.
