Mike Crapps is a founder of First Community Bank and has served as its President and CEO, as well as on its board of directors, since opening the bank in 1995. Prior to opening First Community Bank, he served as President, CEO, and a Director of Republic National Bank. Mike is a lifelong resident of Lexington County and is an active member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church where he has served on the finance committee and the endowment committee. Active in business and the community, Mike currently serves as board chair of Saluda Shoals Park Foundation and on the boards of Lexington School District One Foundation, the South Atlantic Division of the American Cancer Society and Navigating from Good to Great Foundation. He currently represents South Carolina on the American Bankers Association Government Relations Council. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in economics from Clemson University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He is also a graduate of the LSU Banking School of the South. Mike and his wife, Kay, have five children.
