Bill Rogers is co-founder and Chairman of the board of Bonitz Inc. and Chairman-Emeritus of Consolidated Systems Inc. He served many years as President of Bonitz and traveled throughout South Carolina, calling on architects and contractors to market Bonitz's services. Active in the community throughout his lifetime, Bill is a past chairman and present board member of the Carolina Children's Home; member and past advisory board chairman of the Salvation Army; and a member of the board of the Alston Wilkes Society Foundation. He also previously served on the boards of Claflin College, the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Business Partnership and the Sisters of Charity Providence Hospital Foundation. Bill served two terms as chairman of the Industrial Development Commission, predecessor of the Central Carolina Economic Development Alliance, and affiliate of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. Bill received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aeronautical engineering from Georgia Tech. He was inducted into the South Carolina Business Hall of Fame in 2002.
