Ms. Clarissa Cerda is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of LifeLock, Inc. She has served as General Counsel and Secretary since January 2009 and as a Senior Vice President since March 2010. Ms. Cerda served as Vice President and General Counsel of Initiate Systems, Inc., a software company with a focus on data integrity and master data management technologies that was acquired by International Business Machines Corp., from January 2001 until joining the company and as Chief Privacy Officer from January 2002 until joining the company. From May 2000 to January 2001, Ms. Cerda served as Vice President, General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary of Open Port Technology, Inc., a software company. Prior to her affiliation with Open Port, Ms. Cerda was a corporate and securities partner at the law firm of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP and was Assistant Counsel to the President of the United States in the White House Counsel’s Office from 1993 to 1995. Ms. Cerda holds an A.B. in Government from Harvard College, an M. Phil. from University of Western Australia, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and undertook post-doctoral studies in European Community Law at l’Université Libre de Bruxelles.
