Steven L Eggert

Steve Eggert is Co-Owner of St. Anton Partners, LLC, a privately held real estate development and investment company based in Sacramento. St. Anton Partners is the leading affordable housing developer in California and one of the most active nationwide. It has developed and owns a real estate portfolio of over 40 projects throughout Northern California with over 6,000 apartments plus office space, with a value of close to $1 billion. St. Anton focuses primarily on affordable multifamily and seniors rental projects, as well as market rate multifamily in infill areas. Mr. Eggert has primary responsibility for land acquisitions, land use entitlements and project financing. Mr. Eggert earned his bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California and a law degree from Boalt Hall at U.C. Berkeley. Mr. Eggert served as a U.S. Army officer and airborne ranger, stationed in Germany patrolling the Iron Curtain. He practiced real estate law for five years before becoming a real estate developer. Mr. Eggert has served as a publicly elected official of the Sacramento Suburban Water District and as a member of the local planning commission. He is a trustee of Claremont McKenna College, serves on the board of the California Chamber of Commerce and is on the Affordable Workforce Housing Council of the Urban Land Institute. He currently also serves on the Kravis Leadership Institute Board of Advisors. Steve and his wife split their time between Sacramento and Newport Beach.
