Dennis Phillips

Dennis J. Phillips is resident of Glens Falls, New York, where he has been engaged in the private practice of law for over 30 years. As an attorney, he represents private property owners before state and local administrative agencies, including the Adirondack Park Agency and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and he works in both the trial and appellate courts on behalf of landowners. Dennis also has served as General Counsel to the Empire State Forest Products Association, Inc., since 1982, and is a Charter Director and Founder of the New York Forestry Foundation. His areas of legal concentration include timberland acquisitions and divestitures, real property tax assessment litigation, land use planning and zoning, including litigation, corporate law and closely held corporations, trusts and estates, environmental law and private property rights. Dennis is a graduate of St. Lawrence University, B.A., 1967; Fordham University School of Law, J.D., 1972; New York University School of Law, L.L.M., 1974; and is a Charter Life Underwriter, The American College, 1986 and Chartered Financial Consultant, The American College, 1988.
