Prior to that, Matt founded Some Records, an independent record label, and Ultra14, an Internet marketing firm. Previously, he was a writer and Assistant Editor at New York Magazine. Matt began his career in music as the bass player for the New York Hardcore band Judge. In 2002, Matt graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the National Music Publishers Association (NMPA) and a member of the ASCAP Board of Review.
