Nicholas W Lazares

Mr. Lazares is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Admirals Bank. With over 25 years of experience and success in the banking industry, Mr. Lazares has used an innovative approach to create safe and sound growth opportunities for his financial institutions. Prior to acquiring Admirals Bank, Mr. Lazares was the Chairman and co-CEO of Capital Crossing Bank, another highly successful bank based in Boston. Capital Crossing served as a pioneer in the loan acquisition business and was sold in 2007. Mr. Lazares is a Trustee of the Boston Ballet and serves on the Dean’s Council at The Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Mr. Lazares is also on the Board of Fellows of Trinity. Mr. Lazares is a frequent speaker on banking issues affecting the U.S. and Europe. Mr. Lazares is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT, with a degree in economics. He also earned a Juris Doctor degree and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree in taxation from Boston University School of Law.
