Pengrowth Energy Corporation

Pengrowth Energy Corporation, formerly 1562803 Alberta Ltd., is engaged in the development, production and acquisition of, and the exploration for, oil and natural gas reserves in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia. The Company's properties include Judy Creek, Groundbirch, Carson Creek, Harmattan, Swan Hills Unit, Olds, Twining and Coal Bed Methane (CBM). On January 1, 2011, the Company completed the arrangement, pursuant to which the Trust converted into a corporate structure. The Company has a 100% working interest in both the Judy Creek Beaverhill Lake Unit and the Judy Creek West Beaverhill Lake Unit. The Company has 88.6% working interest in The Carson Creek North Beaverhill Lake Unit No. 1 (oil). The Company's has 100% ownership interest in the Olds Gas Field Unit No. 1. On September 15, 2010, the Company completed the acquisition of Monterey Exploration Ltd.
