Affordable Housing Norstar has an extensive and proven track record in developing and constructing affordable housing. Norstar's first housing redevelopment, the Ellicott Town Center, received finalist recognition for "Best Multifamily Rehabilitation" by the National Association of Home Builders, as well as a "Secretary's Award for Excellence" from the HUD Secretary. Norstar has since completed over 1800 units of subsidized housing in New York and Texas. Norstar is one of the 50 largest Affordable Housing developers in the country.
