The Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise is a partnership University of Michigan's School of Business and its School for Environment and Sustainability. It was founded by Frederick and Barbara Erb with and endowment gift of $5M in 1996. Its mission is to create a socially and environmentally sustainable world through the power of business. Educational programs, faculty and research, and business engagement are its primary means of achieving this goal.
