JCG is headed by the Chief of Joint Capabilities (CJC), who is responsible to the Chief of Defence Force. JCG supports the Services by providing a wide range of enabling capabilities, including logistics support and services; health services; professional military education and training; and military legal services. JCG is also responsible for progressing leading edge capabilities, such as cyber, data link and satellite communications. CJC will also manage agreed Joint projects, and their sustainment, to support joint capability requirements. JCG consists of Joint Logistics Command, Joint Health Command, the Australian Defence College, Information Warfare Division, Joint Support Services Division, the Australian Civil-Military Centre, the Joint Military Police Unit, and Military Legal Services.
