"The Truth: Every Coloradan deserves access to affordable, quality health care. But a state government option puts politicians in control of our health care decisions instead of patients, doctors and nurses. A state government option means most Coloradans would have to pay more to wait longer for worse care. It would artificially lower premiums by cutting payments to doctors and hospitals, increasing costs for the majority of Coloradans with employer-provided coverage, and significantly limiting access to care for Coloradans in rural communities."
