The Jolley Foundation is a family foundation in Greenville, South Carolina. Originally established as an employee assistance fund in 1947, the Jolley Foundation has expanded its mission over the last 72 years to better meet the community’s needs and to focus on broader issues. Our Mission We will advance efforts to eliminate the root causes and effects of poverty and discrimination by: Seeking systematic and sustainable solutions to historically intractable problems Investing in nonprofit organizations committed to building their capacity to serve community needs Pursuing opportunities for collaborative philanthropic effort Building strategic local or regional impact initiatives into our investment portfolio Supporting grassroots community organizing: funding where it exists, encouraging where it's needed
