Great Barrier Reef Foundation

Approximately $450 million in funding was committed in the last financial year from the Australian Government to oversee Reef care and maintenance projects. The GBRF is a corporate body registered under the Corporations Act (ACN 090 616 443) and a registered charity with the ACNC (ABN: 82090616443). The Foundation claims it commenced in 1999 but no records exist of the charity prior to 2012 in the ACNC database.
