Safe Climate Caucus

The Congressional Safe Climate Caucus is comprised of Members of the US House of Representatives who have made a commitment to speak out about climate change. What unites us is the understanding that climate change is the moral issue of our time. We believe that we have an obligation to raise awareness of the hardships for future generations if Congress continues to ignore the realities of our changing climate. Its declared mission is: "We formed this group to solve the important issues facing our country because of climate change and hope to have a lasting impact by working in a bipartisan manner." Despite its stated desire of working in a _bipartisan_ manner, at of this writing all the caucus members are Democrats.
