Team Pennsylvania Foundation

Team Pennsylvania was formed in the mid-1990s by business leaders "concerned that burdensome governmental regulations were eroding their economic competitiveness in a global marketplace. These leaders wanted a seat at the table with Pennsylvania's policymakers to share their concerns and work together to ensure Pennsylvania remained a key player in a global economy." A few years after its formation, Team Pennsylvania merged with its Foundation to become a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) called Team Pennsylvania Foundation. While the Foundation operates independently of a single government entity, its board is chaired by the Governor of Pennsylvania.
