At Eleanor’s Legacy, we take action every day to build a democracy that truly represents all of us. Eleanor's Legacy is building a new generation of pro-choice Democratic women candidates, informed voters, and political activists in New York State. Our work is inspired by Eleanor Roosevelt’s example of leadership and her commitment to promoting women in politics and government. We invest in women candidates. Eleanor's Legacy has awarded over $1 million in campaign grants to over 1,350 pro-choice Democratic women candidates since 2001. And 682 of those candidates have won their races.
