Coalition of climate denying nonprofits and organizations

The Cooler Heads Coalition was founded in the late 1990s by Consumer Alert. The website and its activities have since been taken over by the Competitive Enterprise Institute. In 2006, the coalitions website, www.globalwarming.org defined its activities as pooling "together information from experts both inside and outside of the coalition and serves as a clearinghouse for information on global warming science and policy proposals." The coalition has been fierce critic of any legislation to address global warming and has dedicated immense amounts of energy into denying climate change science.
