Matthew Maddox, the former CEO of Las Vegas-based Wynn Resorts, has been named the new president of the $20 billion Authentic Brands Group. Maddox served as the Company’s President from November 2013 and its CEO from February 2018. As CEO, Maddox led Wynn Resorts through the fallout from the scandal and the COVID-19 pandemic. He stepped down from his position in 2022. Since joining Wynn Resorts in 2002, Maddox had served as the Company’s Senior Vice President of Business Development and Treasurer, as the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Wynn Las Vegas, as the Chief Financial Officer of Wynn Resorts (Macau), and as the Company’s Treasurer and Vice President-Investor Relations. Previously Maddux worked in Corporate Finance at Caesars Entertainment, Inc. (formerly Park Place Entertainment, Inc.) and as an M&A banker at Bank of America Securities. Mr. Maddox graduated with a B.B.A. in finance from Southern Methodist University.
