James J Cesare

Mr. Cesare is a Managing Partner of Point Lookout Capital Partners where he is responsible for investment strategy, transaction origination, negotiation and execution, portfolio company oversight, and management of limited partner relationships. Mr. Cesare is a member of the firm's Investment Committee. Additionally, Mr. Cesare represents his family interests as a member of the Board of Directors of a third-generation family-owned holding company which controls several businesses in the insurance, coal, alternative energy and real estate industries. Prior to Point Lookout Capital Partners, Mr. Cesare was a corporate finance attorney in the Manhattan office of Thelen Reid & Priest LLP, where he focused on private equity transactions and middle market acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Cesare has extensive experience in equity offerings and debt financings and has been involved in strategic mergers and acquisitions over a broad range of industries. In addition to his domestic U.S. experience, Mr. Cesare focused on venture capital and private equity transactions during a secondment to the Paris office of Spef-Venture (Seventure), a division of Natixis Private Equity. Mr. Cesare currently serves on the boards of Combined Systems, Tri-Tech Forensics, Pagnotti Enterprises, and F.N.B. Capital Corporation (Advisory Board). Mr. Cesare received a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center.
