Martin Hall is GOP Staff Director for House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. He is a former senior energy/environment White House aid under President Bush. Axios described his appointment to the Select Climate Change Committee: “{the} appointment suggest a genuine effort by {Ranking Republican, Congressman} Graves to engage on the issue.” Prior to his currently role, Mr. Hall was Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff at Business Roundtable (organization of Fortune 500 CEOs). Prior to Business Roundtable, Mr. Hall was Vice President for Energy Policy at FirstEnergy. Mr. Hall was Chief of Staff at the White House CEQ from 2006 through the end of the Bush Administration. Prior to the White House, Mr. Hall was Deputy Staff Director for the Senate Environmental and Public Works Committee. He had previously worked at Gulfstream (formerly Concord Resources Group). Mr. Hall is a board member for ClearPath, a conservative clean energy group. Mr. Hall is a former board member of United Way of Summit County (OH) Mr. Hall is a graduate of Northwestern University where he played football for the Wildcats.
