Myrna Soto has served since April 2018 as a partner of ForgePoint Capital (formerly known as Trident Capital Cybersecurity), a venture capital firm investing exclusively in cybersecurity. Prior to that, she served since August 2015 as the senior vice president and global chief information security officer of Comcast Corporation (“Comcast”). She served from 2009 to August 2015 as senior vice president and chief infrastructure and information security officer at Comcast. Prior to joining Comcast in September 2009, Soto served since 2005 as vice president of information technology governance and chief information security officer for MGM Resorts International, a global hospitality company. She currently serves on the boards of Spirit Airlines, Inc., and Popular, Inc. She has been a director of CMS Energy and Consumers Energy since January 2015. She serves as an executive management committee board member of the Hispanic IT Executive Council and a member of the Board of Trustees of Cabrini College. SVP and global chief information security officer of Comcast Corp. from 2009 to 2018, she was responsible for development of cyber and data security strategies across the entire Comcast portfolio of businesses. She was recently named to Fortune magazine's "50 Most Powrful Latinas in Business" for the second consecutive year and has been recognized by SC Magazine among the "Top 10 Power Players for Women in Security."
