K Laurie McKay

Laurie McKay returned to Dickstein Shapiro in 2006, as a Legislative Specialist in the Public Policy & Law Practice. Ms. McKay’s focus is on agriculture and health issues, and she advises a variety of clients on various state and federal campaign finance laws and regulations. Prior to re-joining the Firm, Ms. McKay served as Director of Federal Government Affairs with MGN, Inc., a Washington, DC boutique firm , where she advised clients on a broad range of issues before Congress and federal government agencies. Ms. McKay focused on natural resources policy, environmental standards and policy, campaign finance, and the appropriations process. She is knowledgeable on state and local efforts to limit or ban tobacco use and related indoor air-quality issues.
