Charlie Hamilton, a Washington DC-based Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President provides a broad range of strategic, acquisition, management, technical, logistics, and training support to the US Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard; Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and Defense organizations in the Middle East and North Africa. He also leads the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN). He supports the firm’s clients with expertise in strategic planning, management and technical support for program acquisition, life cycle management, Foreign Military Sales Case development and management, and technology management and policy. Charlie retired from the US Navy in October 2007 after 33 years of service. Prior to joining Booz Allen, he acquired over 13 years of Program Manager (PM) and Program Executive Officer (PEO) experience in Navy shipbuilding where he demonstrated proven technical, financial, programmatic management and strategic planning, executing a $67 billion budget. He performed the design, development, source selection, contracting, production, fleet introduction, and life cycle management of 14 new construction ship classes and 180 in-service ships, and obtained DAWIA Level III in Program Management. He received a B.S. degree in Zoology from Duke University in 1974, an M.A. in National Security Affairs (Naval Intelligence) from the Navy Postgraduate School in 1981, and an M.S in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University in 1994.
