He was promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations in 1998 and to Chief Operating Officer in 2001. In 2005, Smith was named President and in January of 2008, Smith assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer. With a strong background in finance and accounting, he has been a part of senior management at properties in both Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
