Patricia E. (Pat) Yarrington is vice president and chief financial officer of Chevron Corporation, a position she has held since 2009. She is responsible for comptroller, tax, treasury, audit and investor relations activities corporatewide. Previously Yarrington served as corporate vice president and treasurer from 2007 to 2009 and was responsible for the company’s financing strategies and cash management activities. Prior positions include: 2002, corporate vice president, Policy, Government and Public Affairs; 2000, corporate vice president, Strategic Planning; 1998, president, Chevron Canada Ltd.; 1997, comptroller, Chevron Products Co.; 1995, manager, Credit Card Enterprises, Marketing, Chevron Products Co.; 1986, manager, Investor Relations. Yarrington served on the San Francisco Federal Reserve’s board of directors from 2009 to 2014, serving as its chairman in 2013 and 2014. Yarrington joined Chevron in 1980 as a financial analyst. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Pomona College in 1977 and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1979.
