"Helped build membership up to 1500 property owners representing over 80,000 acres. Helped developed the prototype lease for the Northern Wayne Property Owners' Alliance (NWPOA) which was offered to industry and began the negotiations to secure leases for all the landowners. Four member, of which I was one, were selected to be the negotiators on the final lease that was agreed to with Hess Corporation. Was a primary volunteer during lease signing explaining the lease terms to the property owners as they came in to sign their leases. I have held a position on the Executive Committee for almost six years through two reelections. Spoke before the EPA, DRBC, local chamber meetings, university seminars, and other public events. I have been filmed for three documentaries because of my expertise on the impact of gas drilling and "Fracking" on the health of the local communities. First person to conduct research that identified the significant improvement in the health of communities where there is active natural gas drilling and production for a decade or longer. Have met with NY and PA congressmen, state representatives, and other officials on the issue of natural gas drilling. Author of research studies, letters to the editor, and other articles on the issues surrounding natural gas drilling and production. I have met with many of the top players in the industry, government, and those conducting research. My speaking services have been requested for medical staff annual meetings, university seminars, business conferences, and other community meetings." |
