"Was responsible for directing and coordinating all political, governmental, and community strategies to support the company's business goals on a state and local basis including developing and implementing the organization's political engagement strategy with state and local elected officials, regulatory agencies and key policymakers. Additional responsibilities included developing airport affairs strategies and managing properties at PHL, DCA, IAD and JFK by representing the company’s corporate interests in dealings with airports, other airlines properties representatives, A4A, and industry consultants in relation to obtaining appropriate facilities for American’s operations. This included negotiating/administering on and off airport leases, monitoring airport operating budgets, passenger facility charges, miscellaneous airport fees and capital improvement plans." |
