To date, philanthropist Denny Sanford has given nearly $1 billion to Sanford Health to care for people around the world and to develop the next generation of treatments and cures.
His $400 million gift to Sanford Health in 2007 — which stands as the largest known donation ever given to a U.S. health care organization —transformed the organization from a small regional provider into one of the largest health systems in the nation.
