Notes Devorah brings over 2 decades of experience to IVN. Most recently, Devorah initiated the establishment of an impact investment fund designed to invest in water and sanitation projects in Africa. She has also served as a consultant for the establishment of a ‘social bank’. During this period Devorah also provided consulting and business development expertise to various business ventures in Israel. Prior to this, Devorah spent 10 years in senior management positions at AIPAC-AIEF, Israel, an Israeli non-profit organization affiliated with the pro-Israel lobby in Washington D.C. Her primary responsibilities included the planning, execution and management of over fifty AIPAC and AIEF educational seminars, bringing Members of Congress, Senators, Congressional staff, Presidential candidates, think tanks, African American, Latino and Christian leaders, Homeland Security Experts, and other opinion makers to Israel, to meet Israel’s political, military and academic leadership. Devorah started her career as an attorney in private practice, specializing in the field of government contracts and infrastructure projects. Today Devorah also serves as an active member of the Board of Directors of the Israel Museum, and served as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Ruderman Family Foundation and the Israel Social Tech Forum. In the past, Devorah volunteered at the Israel Women’s Network and the UN Rotlevi Committee on the Rights of the Child. Devorah has a Juris Doctor of Law from Georgetown University and a A.B with honors from Vassar College, both in the United States, and is a member of the Bar Association, in Massachusetts, Washington D.C. and Israel.
