It is the Joint Staff system of record for Joint Staff annual training requirements. TADLP delivers asynchronous Distributed Learning (DL) instruction whenever such instruction is used by more than one Service; Army DL of a Joint nature is hosted here. The Joint Division assists in the integration of Joint DL capabilities; leverages Joint DL courseware/content for Soldiers access and training; and partners w/JKO and other Services to improve Joint and Army DL training and education in order to reduce redundancy of content, save time and costs to meet Army training and education requirements. Content that is applicable to other services or interagency partners should be considered by proponents and Centers of Excellence (COE) for publishing and hosting on JKO. In addition, proponents and COE’s should leverage existing training available on JKO or other Services where applicable to effect cost savings and rapid content availability. ARMY LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ALMS) The Army Learning Management System (ALMS) is a Web-based information system that delivers training to Soldiers, manages training information, provides training collaboration, scheduling, and career planning capabilities in both resident and non-resident training environments. Additionally, the ALMS assists Army trainers and training managers in conducting and managing the training of Soldiers and DA civilians throughout their Army careers. In addition to the training at DTFs, Army personnel can access training from anywhere they have access to a computer and the Internet with the development of the new ALMS, which is currently being fielded at TRADOC installations world-wide. The Army Learning Management System (ALMS) website ARMY CORRESPONDENCE COURSE PROGRAM (ACCP) NOW AT ALMS The Army Correspondence Program has been discontinued. To access records from March 2010 to present, active and historical records for Army Correspondence Course Program courses have been relocated to the Army Learning Management System (ALMS) website. The Army Learning Management System (ALMS) website THE JOINT SERVICES TRANSCRIPT The Joint Services Transcript (JST) provides a description of military schooling and work history in civilian language. It serves as a counseling tool for academic and career counselors in advising service members and veterans. It serves as an aid in preparing resumes and explaining Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, National Guard and Navy work experience to civilian employers. It also saves time and money by awarding academic credits, which means less tuition to pay and less time spent in the classroom. The JST is accepted by more than 2,300 colleges and universities.
