As the Executive Vice President for Global Programs at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), I led the design and execution of large-scale programs to reduce child mortality and transform health systems in more than 20 countries and managed the organization’s relationships with major global institutions. This work began with building and scaling the organization's programs in malaria beyond the original vision to a central strategic pillar of the organization, with operations supporting 12 countries in Africa and Asia to increase access to effective treatment and plan and execute malaria control and elimination programs. Among other efforts, we played a central role in the development and launch of a global initiative that delivered more than one billion doses of quality malaria medicines in total.
